Bruce D. Glassman, M.D.

Dr. Bruce Glassman, a native of Hillside, New Jersey, graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. Dr. Glassman received his medical degree in 1988 from Tufts University of Medicine. In 1992, Dr. Glassman completed a three-year residency in Dermatology at Brown University, in Providence, Rhode Island.
He then performed a one-year fellowship concentrating in Dermatological Surgery at the New England Medical Center in association with Tufts University School of Medicine.
Dr. Glassman has published articles in the Archives of Dermatology and presented research at national meetings. He is a board certified diplomat of the American Academy of Dermatology and is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at George Washington Hospital
Dr. Glassman is the founding member of Capital Dermatology and has been practicing in the Alexandria medical community since 1994. He is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the DC Dermatological Society.
Harold J. Berman, M.D.

Dr. Harold Berman matriculated at both Georgetown and George Washington University for his undergraduate studies and completed his medical training at New York University in 1953. After service time in the U.S. Air Force, he did his Dermatology Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota.
Dr. Berman has practiced Dermatology in Alexandria, Virginia since 1959. He has served as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Georgetown University, President of the DC Dermatology Society, Virginia Dermatology Society, Treasurer of the Alexandria Medical Society, and an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology.
Simone A McKitty, M.D.

Dr. Simone Mckitty, a native of New York City, graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with honors. She received her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine, where she was awarded the Deans Award for academic excellence. She completed her medical internship at Columbia University Hospital in NYC. In 2006 she completed her dermatology residency at Howard University Hospital.
Dr. Mckitty has published articles for Skin and Aging. She has presented at several national dermatology meetings. She is also a board certified diplomat of the American Academy of Dermatology.
Dr. Mckitty has been a member of Capital Dermatology since 2006. She is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Medical Association, the Women’s Dermatologic Society, and the American Society of Dermatologic Society.
Morgana L. Colombo, M.D. 
Dr. Colombo, a native of Brazil, graduated from Temple University with
honors and received her medical degree from Thomas Jefferson Medical College
(Philadelphia, PA) in June 2006.
Dr. Colombo, a board certified dermatologist, successfully completed a
four-year dermatology residency at Washington Hospital Center in June 2011.
She has published articles for the Journal of Dermatological Science.
Dr. Colombo joined Capital Dermatology in July 2011. She is an active member
of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Surgical Dermatology
Society, and Women?s Dermatology Society.
Physician's Assistants
David Kon, PA-C

David Kon, a native of Cherry Hill, NJ, graduated from Rutgers University in 2001. Before his Physician Assistant program, David completed a medical research internship at Vanderbilt University, and also conducted and administered experiments at the Center for Substance Abuse Research at Temple University.
David attended the Physician Assistant Program at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he received the Humanitarian Award and was a key speaker at his graduation. David joined Capital Dermatology in 2004 as the practice's first Physician Assistant. His responsibilities include conducting physical examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses, ordering and interpreting tests, counseling on preventive healthcare, and prescribing medications. David is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Office Managers
Stephanie Long

Officer Manager/Chief Medical Assistant
Stephanie joined the practice in 1998 after graduating from Northern Virginia Community College. She works closely with the Office Manager (her mom Lynda) to help manage the office staff. She also assists with all physicians, performs Microdermabrasions, and trains Medical Assistants annually for a Capital Dermatology internship year prior to their start of Medical school.
In 2009, Stephanie started the implementation of Electronic Medical Records. She works as the IT director for Capital Dermatology and a software advisor for Nextech.
Lynda Stout
Office Manager
Lynda started the practice with Dr. Bruce Glassman in 1994, bringing with her many years of patient services experience. Prior to her work with Capital Dermatology, Lynda worked with Dr. Harold Berman's office and INOVA Alexandria Hospital. Some of the many services that she provides for Capital Dermatology include excellent patient care, pre-authorizations for many procedures, and staff management to ensure your visit will be pleasant. Lynda is available to address any and all patient questions and concerns.
